Start thinking about your nominations for our annual LPSAOP recognition awards. We have two different awards and we all know there are many LPSAOP members that deserve them, so why not nominate them?!?!
The “Leading the Way” Award is to honor and recognize an LPSAOP member who demonstrates leadership skills and the willingness to go “above and beyond.” The award seeks to recognize an LPSAOP member who enthusiastically faces challenges, enjoys supporting the education of our youth and promotes professional development for themselves and their co-workers.
The Office Professional of the Year Award recognizes a LPSAOP member who has demonstrated outstanding performance while employed with LPS. This person will be one that is actively involved in the LPSAOP association and has made significant contribution in their educational position(s) within LPS.
What a great way to get to know LPSAOP members! Secret Friends is an activity that has been enjoyed by countless members for many years. The fun is in the giving and receiving of small gifts/momentos throughout the school year. Secret Friends will be revealed in the Spring of 2011. Last year, I had everyone over to my house for a light meal so we could focus on Secret Friends. Everyone enjoyed the more personal atmosphere so I am planning to repeat for this year. Remember: no single gift over $7.50. For more information, please contact Dawn. Click on Secret Friends to sign up.
Everyone is welcome to attend any PSP workshop-no matter where you are in your journey. Even if you really are apprehensive about starting off, I encourage you to attend a workshop to just learn about the process, after all knowledge is power!

Please RSVP to Nancy Harter if you plan to attend the next PSP workshop! We appreciate you letting us know your intentions so we can distribute committee members to help everyone.
