Congratulations to Lincoln Public Schools Association of Office Professionals on winning FIRST PLACE in the non-professional Webmaster designed site on July 8, 2010 in Kansas City.
What a great way to get to know LPSAOP members! Secret Friends is an activity that has been enjoyed by countless members for many years. The fun is in the giving and receiving of small gifts/momentos throughout the school year. Secret Friends will be revealed in the Spring of 2011. Last year, I had everyone over to my house for a light meal so we could focus on Secret Friends. Everyone enjoyed the more personal atmosphere so I am planning to repeat for this year. Remember: no single gift over $7.50. For more information, please contact Nancy. Click on Secret Friends to sign up.
The date is set for October 5. LPS Style is the theme for the Fall Get-Together. Bring a friend and meet the guest speaker, Dr. Steve Joel, LPS Superintendent. Looking forward to seeing you there! For more information, please check out the Fall Get-together flyer or contact Donna Varney.
Everyone is welcome to attend any PSP workshop-no matter where you are in your journey. Even if you really are apprehensive about starting off, I encourage you to attend a workshop to just learn about the process, after all knowledge is power!
Whether you are working on your application, need help counting up hours for your recertification, or just want to come and learn about the program and get started, help will be available! Please RSVP to Nancy Harter if you plan to attend the next PSP workshop! We appreciate you letting us know your intentions so we can distribute committee members to help everyone.
