Help Plan For National Conference
Enthusiasm is building for the 2007 NAEOP Conference & Institute in Seattle, WA, July 16-20, 2007. There are many briefings, opportunities for educational credits and professional activities being offered as well as social activities. Watch for details from Michelle Lemke, CEOE, LPSAOP Conference Liaison and Julie Kleager, CEOE, the NEOPA liaison for NAEOP.
Everyone should be starting to receive information via NAEOP, Central Area or NEOPA regarding the National Conference in Denver, CO, in July 2008. It sounds like a long ways away, but LPSAOP can help in many ways to make this the best NAEOP Conference and Institute. Contact Deb Ryan, CEOE, Nebraska Chair, and say, “Yes, I will help.”
PSP Application Deadline Approaches
January 15 is the next PSP application deadline! Applications being submitted to the national office need to be postmarked by this date—no exceptions.
PSP Workshops Offered
Two RECERTIFICATION workshops are being offered-Tuesday, January 23 at 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 15 at 5:00 p.m. Both will be held in room E-111 at LPSDO. Bring your recertification application as completed as possible. There will be PSP committee members available to help count your hours and complete all the proper sections of the recertification application. These workshops are for recertification purposes. Many are due to the National PSP Registrar on May 15, 2007.
A PSP workshop for people on their PSP journey, or wanting to begin, is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30th at 4:45 p.m. in room E-111 at LPSDO.
