Being a member of Lincoln Public Schools Association of Office Professionals has many, many rewards. LPSAOP has several functions throughout the year. There is the Fall, Winter and Spring Membership events where general membership meetings are held. The biggest event of the year is the Recognition and Installation Banquet which is held in May. This banquet is a wrap up of the years accomplishments, retirement celebrations, good food, good friends, and last but not least the installation of new officers. By attending these events, you have a great opportunity to get to know other members, have fun, and learn what is happening in the organization.
Involvement, such as being on a committee, serving as a committee chair, or serving as an officer is a great experience. By being an active LPSAOP member you get the opportunity to meet co-workers throughout the district, share and learn new ideas along with establish lasting friendships.
Membership is on a yearly basis, beginning August 1st and ending July 31st. New memberships and renewals are $20.00. Retiree membership fees are $10.00. To become a member, complete the membership form and pay your dues by either check or a monthly paycheck donation.
